Technical question: how to attach multiple photos

I'm attempting to post my first TR here, and I'm having trouble posting multiple photos. The first one goes through just fine, but I'm having trouble getting subsequent photos to take. I attach the second in exactly the same way as the first, but it doesn't show up in preview. What's going on here?

just keep adding pictures (and not removing/replacing current ones)

No, I'm not removing a previous photo; the new one simply doesn't show up. The photos are all 2560x1920. What I did is to type my introductory paragraph, then scroll down to the "Post Photos or Files" section, type my caption into the "File Description/Photo Caption" box, then click "Choose File," found the file on my HDD, then clicked "Add the file." At this point if I hit Preview, my photo shows up with the caption. When I go back, though, and repeat this same process for the second file, it goes through the "updating (x%)," but the photo is just absent. What am I doing wrong?

don't go back.. just scroll down to add another image..

 

and please resize the picture to something like 800x600 before uploading/posting them..
