coasterfansince1999 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I live an hour away from Great America in Chicago. I never been on the Raging Bull ride yet. I am definetely 100% going on it, but I just want to know what to expect on it. I heard there is a LOT of airtime on this. What does the 1st drop feel like? Is it forceful? Please and Thank You
SharkTums Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 If you've never been on a coaster like that before then you'll get those butterflies in your stomach feeling for sure. If you want to minimize that feeling sit in the middle of the train.
coasterfansince1999 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Well, I've actually been on the Magnum XL-200 once but that was back in 2007. I'm used to the feeling of the butterflies. I also was planning to sit in the middle. I just want to know how it feels. Airtime? Smoothness (I'm guessing really smooth because it's B&M ) I'm also wondering about X-Flight too. How does that feel? Is it smooth? G-forces? Airtime? (In case you were wondering, I've been on every single ride there except for those 2 coasters.)
cfc Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 ^Raging Bull is a lot of fun, and has a resonable amount of that "floaty" B&M airtime. The only unfortunate aspect are some particularly annoying trims about halfway through.
coasterfansince1999 Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 Thank you for that advice! I feel less nervous for it now.
coasterfansince1999 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 UPDATE: I just went on both of them. X-Flight was amazing but I give it an 8/10 because it's not as thrilling as Raging Byll was
