caffeine_demon
Hi, I'm on a big US trip (from the uk) this summer (with the guys from coaster force), and was wondering about the possibility of being too big for some of the restraints. For reference - I'm about a 40" waist, and am ok in B and Ms regular seats, but was just a bit to big for colossos at thorpe park. 2 years ago, I was fine on piraten at djurs, and may have lost a little since then the parks we're visiting are: Lake compounce and quassy - guessing no problems here? Six flags new england - bit worried about bizarro, goliath (is it the same restraint as stunt fall), what are the gerstlauer spinners like? Coney island - how roomy are the cage things on the volare? (I know they're painful, but just want the cred!( 6 flags great adventure - worried about toro, is Ka the same as stealth and rita? and what about green lantern? is nitro the same as silver star? dorney - heard comments about possessed, but the restraints look similar to tornado at parque de attractiones in madrid, and that was fine knoebels - looks like no problems here! (will flying turns be open???) six flags america - Apocalypse? maybe superman? hershey - fahrenheit (same as rita etc??) kings dominion - shockwave ? Intimidator? volcano? Busch gardens williamsburg -looks fine (depending on what verbolten does) Kennywood - again, looks ok cedar point - Mantis? read comments about Milf and TTD having particularly tight seatbelts - and also on wicked twister Are the premier rides launchers all the same as ROTM? Any other possible dificulties? Any other thoughts? (except lose weight, fatty!) Thanks Daniel.
robbalvey
Doesn't sound like you'll have much of a problem. If you can fit on an Intamin Mega-Lite, you'll probably be ok on the coasters you listed. Some of them are a tight fit if you're a bigger person and it really just depends on how you carry it if you'll have any problems. My only suggestion would be to make sure you use the test seats outside of an attraction and if you don't fit, please don't be "that guy" and waste everyone's time on the loading platform trying several seats to fit on a coaster. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! --Robb

I did also squeeze into hydro about 6 years ago, but I'm probably a good half stone heavier now, maybe a stone?? I was a bit worried about not getting on swarm aty thorpe park, but was quite an easy fit think the ones I'm most worried about are el toro, TTD and MF (maybe wicked twister, but it's not as much of a loss as the others) and looking at the picture of steve (sorry - not being rude!) on http://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=35&linkid=10971&pageno=6 ET will be ok My only suggestion would be to make sure you use the test seats outside of an attraction and if you don't fit, please don't be "that guy" and waste everyone's time on the loading platform trying several seats to fit on a coaster. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! Although I have heard stories that the test seat at CP is a different size to the acrtual seats - and particularly on MF the eral seats have a bit of variation! Ps - love yer vids! pps - I'm still gonna aim to lose a stone before I go
SharkTums
^Like Robb said it's not even weight as much as how you carry it. In that picture you posted you can see it was a lot of 'flab'...squishy so the bar went right in. Some people who are bigger and ripped in better shape may have a harder time fitting. Godwyn
^ That is so true. My friend that went with us on the IntimidaTour trip, who looked to me to be smaller than Steve, had more trouble getting onto B&M's because his legs were bigger and wouldn't let the restraint down all the way. Until we cut off circulation to his legs that is.
caffeine_demon
would I be right in thinking that el toro is a bit more forgiving than milf and ttd then? also - I've seen the following test seat for milf http://ptreport.thrillnetwork.net/cp03/images/mftestseat.jpg looks a long strap - but I've heard they've reduced the size since then.. is that true? if so - how much by? Merci
australianalex
I'm sorry this post is no help to your question, but every time you call Millennium Force "Milf" I have to laugh. That is all.
