disneylandfan
Hey guys! New to this forum and I'm off to Disneyland Paris soon with some friends. I'd really appreciate any hints or tips for when visiting as none of us have been there before? Any advice of hotels to stay at, rides to go on etc? I'm a huge Disney fan so I can't wait to visit! Thanks for any help
Swimace
How much time are you spending there? Are you planning on doing both parks or just one? I recently took my first trip to Disneyland Paris, and I only had a day to get both parks done. Go to the Studios first thing in the morning and ride Crush's Coaster and RC Racer (the Toy Story Half Pipe). These are the two lowest capacity coasters on property, and even when the park is dead they'll get a decent sized line. After that, knock out Tower and Rock n Roller Coaster... then you're pretty much done with the Studios park unless you really want to do the shows or tram tour. You can get those four rides done in a couple of hours if you go near opening. Then just go over to Disneyland Park, you should have plenty of time to get everything done there if you go around lunchtime. Also, if you're going this time of the year you should expect crowds to be pretty light. I went on a weekday a couple weeks ago and most of the attractions were 5-10 minute waits with the exception of Crush and RC Racer. Expect longer on weekends, but still not crazy crowded. Use Fastpass for Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain if that's the case. As for hotels, I just stayed in a cheap hostel in Paris. It's only about a 35 minute train ride to Disneyland from inside the city, and it's easy to access from the subway system. I don't really know much about staying on property. Hope that helps! Team Thriller
Thunder Mountain at night = Amazing Oh, and get Fastpass whenever you can, even if the line isn't long. The little amount of time you save will add up in the end. Have fun! --James
simon8899
If you have some time consider to also visit Park Asterix.
disneylandfan
Hi Guys! Thank you so much for all of the advice. It's really appreciated. Me and my friends aren't yet sure if we're going to do both parks. One of us isn't that into Disney and so we think they might get a Disney overload by the second park! I'll definitely try and get all of my friends to check out as many of the rides as you have all suggested. This forum is much better than others as the people here actually provide some help. Thanks guys!
