B.A.B Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) A new park is comming to Louisville,Kentucky. The park is going to be called Corkscrew Gardens, the park will be owned by Corkscrew Entertainment. The company already owns two parks which are Land of Adventure and Corkscrew Adventures. The park will open with four roller coasters, and many shops and flat rides for guest. The park will open on May 5,1998. SCR459.BMP Here are some pictures of the main street and entrance. MeMeMe Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Well! I love the archy in the first two screens; it looks a lot better than the stuff from Corkscrew Adventures. As for the station, it's a bit too... empty. If you have any station-related objects, here would be a place to put them. Also, you should eliminate that layer of green at the bottom and go with grey brick for the whole wall.
B.A.B Posted May 15, 2011 Author Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Do you mean that I should put station gates inside the station to make it look more realistic? Edited May 15, 2011 by QueerRudie
CoasterCreator9 Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Do you mean like put station gates inside the station to make it more realistic. Exactly. But definately get rid of that green layer, I mistook it for either missing wall sections or grass base blocks. The rest of the park, however, (especially that tunnel!) is excellent!
B.A.B Posted May 15, 2011 Author Posted May 15, 2011 I went back to the park and found that they put in an vintage cars ride. It looks like an ride where you can just relax on. SCR464.BMP
braztaz Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Looks great, just get rid of some of those 90 degree turns on the paths!
CoasterCreator9 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Looks great, just get rid of some of those 90 degree turns on the paths! He might have rides (flats) planned for some of those areas.
ThrillsChills24 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Looks great, just get rid of some of those 90 degree turns on the paths! He might have rides (flats) planned for some of those areas. Be pretty crowded right there if he does. I agree, no 90 degree turns! Other then that, looks good.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 What you do with 90* turns in RCT2. You make sure that they are at least 4 tiles across, just add three extra path peices to the side. Make a shop/ride that has an entrance/exit on both sides of the path. Make sure that both sides lead to something good, or else your get to get 500 peeps "lost" in that area.
B.A.B Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Guys I change the 90 degree turns to an diagonal path.
