crazywolf88 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 From what I see, S:EFK looks to have a very weak launch and I was wondering: "Do we really need the shoulder restraints?" Is superman powerful enough that you need the OTSRs or could it possibly do without them? I need help on this.
JJ728 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 If you don't resist the forces on the launch, it is pretty easy to get flung forward. But most people automatically try to stay back in there seats. I don't think they're that big of a deal, they don't really interfere with the ride experience too much IMO.
robbalvey Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 They are there for two reasons: 1. To keep you from slamming forward too much during the launch. 2. Issues with reach envelope. They really aren't that big of a deal.
RollerCoasterSmi Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Why are there now envelope issues? The ride tunnels haven't changed or anything, and surely OTSR's surely restrict movement further... I am confused...
