Want a picture with Mickey?? Not so fast......you'll need a Fastpass for that.

Great news for all of the tourists that will be heading to Disney World some time in the near feature. Apparently the well-known American theme park has now just announced a new FastPass system to see the iconic Mickey Mouse. This FastPass is suppose to work much like the FastPass systems that are in place for the theme parks’ popular rides.

Anyone that has ever used a FastPass knows what the deal is here. Pretty much, people get a ticket and are told when to come back to a ride. When they come back to that ride, like Space Mountain, they are able to wait in a much shorter line than the normal line, meaning that they get to zoom past people and jump on the ride.

Well now, instead of waiting for hours to see the popular mouse, people can get a FastPass ticket and be told when to come back. People who get in the FastPass line are normally given a ticket with an hour window on it. The idea is to come back within that hour time slot to be placed in the FastPass line. Of course, it is important to note that just, because someone has a FastPass does not mean that they will not have to wait at all. They still have to wait, just not as long.

Of course, not everyone loves FastPass tickets. For the people that do not take part in FastPass tickets, the system seems unfair. The people who are waiting in the normal line will normally see people with a FastPass ticket zoom right past them. After all, seats have to be split up between the normal line and the FastPass line.

I'm not sure if this will work during busy times. Especially when Mickey needs "to for a drink" and the FP queue builds up again.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

So are they going to build Fastpass machines and a queue house for: Mickey Mouse the Experience? I will love to see how this really works so how is this going to work with people without a FP? Well referencing the splitting of seats I assume something like that.
