danandjackie Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Hey I was just wondering how do yall upload you videos onto the computer? Firewire to a 1394 I/O controller card and Ulead Vid Studio 9.0 Dont even attempt to use USB you`ll lose quality and frames edit>>>> oops just realised which forum this was on..sorry
CoasterFanatic Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 ^ I do the same thing. Just replace Ulead with Vegas 4.
robbalvey Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 And replace the word "upload" with "import" and that will probably help you google search information on how to get your video from your MiniDV camera to your computer. If you're not using a MiniDV camera with a firewire cable, it will be much more difficult. The best site I know for this kind of stuff is www.videohelp.com --Robb
WillMontu Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 If you're on a budget, you can always use something like Windows Movie Maker. It has the ability to import DV-AVI and also export in that format too. As said above, make sure you have a DV camcorder and a 1394 connection. If you have an old-fashioned analogue camcorder, you may want to get some kind of capture card. They would work with Movie Maker also.
