Why is There Scaffolding onTower of Terror?

When I was at Disney World I noticed some WORKERS ON SCAFFOLDING on Tower of Terror! The ride was still running, I rode twice, but I wonder what the scaffolding on the tower was for. It is very strange. Hmmmm, what could it be? Robb, do you know what they are doing to Tower of Terror?

Just my take, I have to imagine that Disney wants to keep up the appearance of the outside of the tower as well as the inside. Just because it looks like it's old and worn down doesn't mean they actually want it to be.

True story. They're taking down one letter "H" to replace the gap left in i305. This is what Robb was referring to in the IAAPA videos that he had to remain silent about. So if he doesn't respond to you in this thread, that's why.
