Replacement of some amusement on the Wonder

2009/10/21

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, close to the amusement of some operations in the aging 等Shita Wonder, and the replacement of free play facilities.

Ferris wheel and go-karts are still there - looks like everything else is gone.

Interesting. All the "quirky" rides are going out the door.

 

Do Thunder Dolphin and the Hubless ferris wheel count as "quirky"? It would be terrible to see them get removed - they look really awesome together!

I think those two will be sticking around for some while, they are the centerpiece of the amusement area.

 

Thunder Dolphin looks really cool, especially lit up at night, but it doesn't quite go as good as it looks. Still not a bad ride by any means though.
