1pizza14 Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Hi there TPR. In febuary I have to do a science fair at my school. We have to choose the topics by next monday and I cannot seem to think of anything that seems interesting. Have you guys/do you guys know any good science fair topics? If so it would be extreamly helpful. Thanks a lot!
beatle11 Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 The science of Roller Coasters of course. There is plenty of physics involved. Why not that? When I was in elementary, i did my project on severe weather like tornadoes and hurricanes. There's a couple to give you some ideas.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I agree with Beatle. Coasters revolve around mechanics and physics to operate, and would make an interesting project. Here's a website to get started with http://ffden-2.phys.uaf.edu/211_fall2002.web.dir/Shawna_Sastamoinen/Roller_Coasters.htm
chemical_echo Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 I remember I had to do one of these back in elementary school. What grade are you in? It would help us give you ideas based on how technical/difficult you want to be. Mine was in grade 8 and I did plants growing under a light bulb vs plants grown in sunlight
