ANJLOVER14 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Hi, for my first public park, I wanted to start out with my favorite park I've made, so, Here It Is! Upon entering, guests head through security, and enter through the gates to be greeted by... Violet Falls!! The park's symbol and central "hub". Taking an immediate right, guests stumble upon SkyForce! Built by industry leaders, Bolliger and Mabillard, SkyForce's signature pretzel loop sends riders below the entrance and exit pathway. A closer view of the loop. More To Come Soon!!
djbrcace1234 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I love the Flyer, but the paths you have chosen so far I think just pop out more than you want to. If you choose a darker path color, the building will pop out better. Just a suggestion, but everything in here is nice! I'm eager to see what you can do with this.
AJClarke0912 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I personally think the "popped" sidewalks look fantastic! A good splash of variety and color! But that's just my opinion...
Dotrobot Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I don't think the buildings can pop more then they aree.. But I take it this is a fantasy park?? If not maybe more neutral colors and some square windows I'm a big fan of round windows justt not used in that particular way. Love the flyer
ANJLOVER14 Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 ^^ Yeah, I kind of liked those paths too, and farther back in the park, the pathway returns to normal, solid colored path. ^ Yep, it is a fantasy park. All for fun, and I just felt like keeping the park bright and cheery. As for the windows, I'll figure out a solution. On Sat. I'm leaving for vacation, so I'll post a few screens tomorrow. When I get back I'll post more. Thanks for all the comments and tips! I'll try to implement them sometime in the park!
ANJLOVER14 Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 ^ Thanks! Violet Grove's opening day is approaching, so here are more pictures of the park! As you can tell, the kiddie section (still needs a name) is coming along very well! Twister is a wild mouse coaster that is sure to please our guests! This is our S&S launched tower that desperately needs a name! If you have a suggestion, post it below! This is Rusty's Pizza Parlor, a local vendor that now hosts this restaurant near Twister! If big thrills are more your style, Quicksilver is probably just right for you! This is Rotivator, an exciting spinning attraction that is more intense than it may seem! My final picture is the current overview. Pretty neat, huh? Thanks to everyone who's posted so far! See you in a couple weeks!
triggernel Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 How about Imagination Hollow, Adventure Trails, or the Exploritorium for the kiddie section's name? the update!
Dotrobot Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I Think the Kiddie world would be perfect with a small plaza in the center with a fountain and rides surrounding the plaza. And for the launch tower how about: Power Launch, Big Shot (Yes, I stole that from Stratosphere), Vertigo, Vertical Blur and for the Kiddy section I'd suggest Wonderland, Land of Colors, Cliff Adventure
no_brain_er Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I just wanted to say that this park looks amazing. You must have put hours into this, and it really shows! For the S&S tower, you could go with Slingshot, Accelerator, StratosFear (taken from Morey's Piers' AtmosFEAR), or Blast-Off. Just a few to consider.
braztaz Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I love how this park is so cheery and colorful! It actually put me in a good mood I would love to go to this park in real life, even on rainy days it'd still have that zing to it. Keep the updates coming!
