coasterfreaksrttd
Hey TPR.... It's been a while since I posted here, so you might not remember me. Here's a few of my other TRs to refresh your memory... Cedar Point: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=51522&p=774003#p774003 Six Flags Great Adventure: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=51542&p=774463#p774463 Busch Gardens Europe Behind The Scenes Coaster Tour: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=52072 This current TR however, is something different. Over my spring break I took a trip down to Florida, and crammed every park I could into seven days... I am only fourteen, and I am trying to improve my photography, so any tips would be much appreciated. Comments or questions can go in this thread of in my inbox. Necessary.... Our first day (Universal) was rained out at noon, so I only got a couple picture in IOA... More pics later in the TR The IOA theming is pretty intense... Oh. Dear. God.... I NEED AN ADULT!!! The Incredible Hulk is still awesome. One thing I did notice is that it seems to get noticeably rougher every time I ride it... The Incredible Cobra Roll... Seen here: Poseidon after a long night of drinking. Harry potter is going up fast! Leave it to IOA to make something THIS badass Next day was Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa). This has gotta be one of my favorite parks in florida. At the moment, we are in Egypt Sigh.... Only in America... And so, as the prophets for tell: The weird looking bird thing will balance a watermelon on his head while the dude with the tiny umbrella hat watches And then the Pharaoh presented milkshakes to the bird man. And all was well... SCARY BIRD MAN APPROVES OF TPR One of the things that makes montu great is it's high speed dash through small tunnels. Small spaces and near misses really help build the illusion of speed and danger on this coaster. Yes Seen here: A train full of feet. I absolutely LOVE these high speed rolls! ... This camel actually (no joke) stuck his head out and was nuzzling me... I swear, for I second I thought he was trying to bite my ear... These things are seriously all over the place. I don't even know what they are. All I know is they scare the hell out of me Crocodile or Alligator? YOU be the judge.. Flamingos SheiKra is next I don't care which one came first. I live in Virginia, and to me this will forever be "Red Griffon" I must say, I do like SheiKra's splashdown a bit better. I was walking when I took this shot. My whole group was tired of me taking pictures of everything and were getting impatient, so I didn't get too many good SheiKra pictures HA! ONE immelmann? Pffff.... HA! EIGHT across? Pffff... (I am TOTALLY not Griffon biased) Kumba REALLY caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to like this one at all, but I actually really did And around... Have I mentioned how obsessed I am with cobra rolls? Kumba is one of those coasters where the lift hill and the first loop make sweet sweet love. Indeed Necessary Wild peacock. This wasn't caged, it was just walking around the park free... Seaworld was day three... And let me just say, Manta is AWESOME I liked Manta better than ANY B&M flying machine I have ever been on. Ultimate Flight can suck it! This pretzel loop is literally breathtaking. The first drop is incredibly unnerving. The near misses are what make this coaster. It's hard not to flinch swooping through the bushes! Aah. You just have to ride it. Nothing like a nicely twisted B&M track. ... First drop .... Aah yes Kraken. One of my favorite floorless coasters... ... ... ... ... These last few tunnels are probably my favorite part Back to Universal... Rip Ride Rockit is a blast. Bit of advice: If you have the chance, go single rider. I've never seen standby under an hour One complaint is the constant breaks. It could really do a lot better if the ride wasn't interrupted every four seconds This vertical lift is most excellent And the drop isn't half bad either. Aah, yes, the non inversion inversion. Quite interesting.. Not half bad... Bravo Maurer-Söhne! ... Back to IOA Dueling Dragons is still pretty unique... I'm an ice fan myself. Fire is still awesome though... Damn... PELVIC THRUST! I really love this launch into a roll... Nice surprise for first time riders ... I TRIED to get a non-blurry version of this shot, but it just wasn't gonna happen with my crappy little Nikon Coolpix... Well, that's all for now. Hope you enjoyed! Give me some feedback! coasterfreaksrttd
Also, here are some noteworthy things that do not relate with the photographs Great places to eat: Mythos: This one is in Islands of Adventure... This place is great... Try the Pad Thai! Epcot World showcase: So much, so little time... Come with an empty stomach for this one! I would recommend Italy or China... When we were in China we ate at the Nine Dragons Restaurant... Pretty good! Downtown Disney: Basically a giant food court. Great things to do: Cirque De Soliel: Pretty awesome! This is amazing! Like a giant 2 hour acid trip. This is a must do! Seuss Landing: I don't care how old you are, this place is cool! My favorite rides from the trip: -Montu -Manta -Rip Ride Rockit -Kraken ...This TR took three hours to put together so make it worth while and leave me some feedback! coasterfreaksrttd
Great TR! Was it really crowded? Thanks! And as for the crowd, yes. Spring Break in Florida is always pretty crowded. The best times to go are on cloudy days or at night...

coasterfreaksrttd
Thanks! and you should. coasterfreaksrttd
UPDATE: Here are some more Wizarding World of Harry Potter photos that I neglected (they were out of order when I uploaded them).... coasterfreaksrttd
A few more out of order shots: Suess landing Trippy! Mythos exterior Even the ATM is themed! Pretty epic... This was the first day, around when it started raining I love coaster waits on rainy days! DD was still going in the rain, and the line was even shorter than the sign said... Unfortunately, soon lightning flashed, and they shut it down... Wild white peacock! Random Epcot shot!

coasterfreaksrttd
Sort of. The DD cue is blocked off by a huge tarp that keeps us from seeing too much... Hard to hide something that big though.

coasterfreaksrttd
You missed a credit at SeaWorld... Shamu Express. To intense for ya? Damn! I was hoping no one would notice! It's just a bit too scary for me. SE is were I draw the line. I would have ridden it, but I don't want to black out. I heard it pulls 5 gs around that one 6 mph turn! But really, we didn't make it over to that side of the park. And besides, I am young. I have all my life to be a credit whore
