PriestofSyrinx Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I will be going to Cedar Point that weekend of the Coastermania! and will probably join Club TPR to attend the event. But what are the crowds like on that weekend usually? For the GP I mean. And what does the "bring one guest mean"? If my Dad and I sign up and attend the event, could we take my mom and sister as guests?
Maverickrocks Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I've heard the crowds vary year by year, but last year Coastermania weekend was by far one of the best weekends to be at the park. Saturday crowds were more like Sunday crowds, with 20-25 min waits on MF, 30 min waits for dragster (even less in the evening), 1 hour or so for Maverick and about 10 for Raptor. And the weather was beautiful for the majority of the day. Sunday was also beautiful, and the park was dead. Walk-ons for pretty much everything, MF's line maybe reached 20 mins at most and Maverick was 30 min or less. The light crowds during the weekend were most likely due to graduation ceramonies, which often fall on the first weekend in June. Coastermania is on that praticular weekend again this year, so I would expect things to be similar. As for the guest policy, it's one guest per membership. So if you and your dad each have individual memberships, then you should be fine.
Chris Benvenuto Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Didn't want to start a new topic, but what are Memorial Day crowds like at Cedar Point? Anyone know? Because I'm planning a two-day visit there, while staying the night in downtown Sandusky.
ParkTrips Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Cedar Point-Coastermania!What are the crowds like? male, fat and or gay
PriestofSyrinx Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Another quick Coastermania question: The website for Coastermania does NOT list Club TPR as an approved club... Yet Club TPR's site does list Coastermania as a ClubTPR benefit? Just trying to get some info...
