gus1971 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Mr. Alvey and Co, My partner and I have decided for CHINA, AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND as our destinies next July. I know you guys had a blast (when you do not?! ) in our last trip to China. So, whoever can contribute with hints, non-miss parks/coasters, etc we will highly thank. Cheers from the extremely hot Rio, Gus.
gisco Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Some of my favorite parks in China were Chimelong Paradise and Happy Valley Shenzhen, Happy Valley Shanghai. If you go to Shenzhen then Ocean Park and Disneyland are not far away. The other Happy Valley parks are nice but they are not something I would go out of my way to return to. Past those I can't really think of a must see park in China.
SharkTums Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 ^Thanks for helping him out Bob! And yes, I would stick with the major parks. The smaller ones are really nothing special AT ALL. In fact our next China trip will be a 'Best of China' where we'll hit all the majors and pretty much ignore the terrible little ones!
thunder001 Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Hey Gus, If your able to let me know what areas of Australia your planning to visit, I am more than happy to help you out with advice or ideas of where to visit during your stay. If your heading to the Gold Coast, then the big parks are all within 15-20mins of each other and there are a couple of other locations that are worth a visit as well in the area. There are a couple of other tourist attractions within an hour drive to the north of Brisbane including the croc hunters place as well as some more Aussie based tourist attractions. Like I said, if you need more info, please feel free to ask away. Cheers
