Progressive Coaster Challenge... Help build a giant coaster.

Recommended Posts

Ok so I was getting kinda sick of the amount of wooden coasters that have been in the forum recently so I thought it would be time to start a new type of challenge.

Ok so the idea is we have a park that has minimal themeing and the start of a rollercoaster. Add your section to the rollercoaster and then hand it on. Hopefully by the end we should end up with something really interesting.

Ok so the general rules are:

  • *If you want to check out a section to modify make a post saying so. Also place in your post when you intend to return with the update. Please no more than 3-5 hours. (this is to avoid someone making the same section)
*Please do not modify what someone else has done unless it is unavoidable (examples: no new piece can be added due to positioning of last piece)
*Feel free to theme what you add and any section that has so far been unthemed
*Place the final modified version of the park file up along with a new picture when you are done with your modifications

Ok hope that is clear enough. Hopefully people will find it fun. I tried to use the most flexible coaster type I could think of. Well hopefully this experiment will prove fun.

Once again my apologies to those without Soaked... Unfortunately when someone with Soaked saves a file it becomes a Soaked file...

Overview of the rather short section I have done so far. Feel free to take it wherever you want.

My rather poor attempt at themeing the station... Sorry...

Yeah sorry Slushie...

Unfortunately when someone with Soaked saves a file I believe it becomes a Soaked file. It would be kinda hard to do it otherwise.

Oh BTW people can feel free to change the colors. I'm not really big into colors so it started out black.

This is just for fun for everyone CoasterDude... If you want to add something feel free to. Just post what you have done with a screenshot and the new file when you finish.

I mean heck it will be damn cool to see what different styles of building people have and just see what kind of crazy coaster we end up with in the end. I'll tell you this it is gonna be huge. Well hopefully. C'mon people help out...

Well I was just kinda messing around with it and added a new section. I'll work on putting it up in just a few minutes. Just for fun change the color of each section as you go so we can tell where the different people built on.

Ok well hope everyone enjoys the new section I added. I think it is kinda cool. I put in a block brake so that there could be more than 1 train. Feel free to add more lifts or boosters. Enjoy.

  • 7 months later...

OMG... It came back... Almost half a year later it came back... LOL...

I started this so long ago... Hope you guys have fun with it... I would probably add to it but I think if I did the file might become a Wild! file... Not sure if it still works that way but I might give it a try.

Well have fun and make sure to take pics... That is the only rule other than not modifying what other people put in.
