Sunfire Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Last night I got a call from my school's automated phone system. Yesterday during the middle of the day, a power line was downed by high winds and heavy rain, causing a power outage at the entire school. So today, they haven't been able to restore power, so they cancelled all classes. So I'm here, and have nothing to do. Whoo! Thank you random torrential downpour in the Bay Area!
atem122 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 ^Lucky you, at my school, the rain short circuited our brand new fire alarm system, so they were literally going off almost all day! I stayed at school until about 6 cause I was hanging out with my friend, and it still showed no signs of shutting up! (At least it did shut up for the PSAT)
Angry_Gumball Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Yay downpour. I did have to go to class, and had an epic battle against the heavy winds and rain when walking across the university to grab my lunch. Not an acceptable amount of wetness. It left me with 4 hours to go in waterlogged shoes. Not fun. Also, one of the main roads up to the campus was closed due to an accident in the morning, not sure what was going on the rest of the day...probably just unsafe to drive. However, this was fun though: No, this is not real, was done with AfterEffects CS4.
