The Six Flags St. Louis Discussion Thread

I see SFKK and other parks have their own thread, so why not SFSTL? The park has seen improvement in rides, customer service and cleanliness every year for the past 5 years or so...

 

Hopefully we will continue to get attention from the management in coming years (Hyper in 2011!). I searched and could not find a thread of this nature before, but correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Maybe we can try to find and link the updates and trip reports from SFSTL to this front page, to make it easier to find information.

I love SFSTL! It just is absolutely is my favorite SF park. I have been to SFMM, SFDK, SFSTL, SFOT, SFEG, SFDL, SFNE, SFOG, SFGAM, SFGADV. SFSTL seems to be the best! The atmosphere and collection of rides are really good!

 

I am heading to this park in 3 weeks! So I am pretty excited! It will be my 4th time to the park. (2001)(2006)(2008) were my other trips.

 

And yea, I have ridden the past away kiddie coaster. I think it is called Rock n Roller.

Well... I hope you are not disappointed. In past years, I have been disappointed by Fright Fest, as it gets a lot of hype but does not fully deliver compared to other parks Halloween Festivities. In previous years, there have been no free haunted houses, or "scare zones." However, there are a few actors who randomly jump out, but nothing consistent.

We usually like to start a "park discussion" thread when there is actually something to discuss or if someone volunteers to bring "regular updates" from the park to the site.

 

Starting a thread for the sake of starting it isn't something we want to make a habit of.

 

If that hyper (or something big) comes to be reality we will start a SFStL discussion.

 

If someone reliable and regularly in touch with the park wishes to volunteer to maintain this thread, please notify Robb via PM and he'll discuss it with you.
