It will include PortAventura Theme Park, Costa Caribe Waterpark and Salou and La Pineda in Spain. PortAventura is one of the worlds best theme parks and i was lucky enough to visit 3 times in one week. I also visited Costa Caribe waterpark, which is next door to PortAventura, once. The waterpark is great and so much fun, i do have some pics of this to show you in a minute. Also there is a few pictures of Salou and La Pineda, which is two areas near PortAventura. Well lets talk about the theme park. They have some of the best rides i have ever been on, including; Dragon Khan, Furius Baco, Tutuki Splash and more. The best was Dragon Khan, which is just so fantastic and smooth. Too smooth for an 14 year old coaster. But thats B&M for you. Also another great rollercoaster is Furius Baco that i absoloutley loved. It has the best barrol roll i have ever been on. So quick and fun. Now Hurakan Condor, what can i say except WHAT A RIDE! Its so good, and scary. I went on it 4 times in 3 days. Well now down to the important stuff! Ride Count at PortAventura! Dragon Khan x4 Fumanchú x1 Stampida x3 Gran Canyon Rapids x2 Tomahawk x1 Silver River Flume x 3 Crazy Barrels x1 Wild Buffalos x 4 Volpaiute x1 Furius Baco x5 Hurakan Condor x4 El Diablo x1 Serpiente Emplumada x1 Tutuki Splash x2 Tami Tami x1 Kon-Tiki Wave x1 This ride count is over the whole 3 days! Now the pictures, lets start with PortAventura! Thats right, were at PortAventura as the sign says! Lovely waterfountain! Universal still have some rights in the park, as we can see with Woody Woodpecker Statue! Hurakan Condor in all its beauty! And again! Tomahawk, a kiddies ride, maybe one of the most painful rides ever! Looks like they're ready for Halloween! Stampida, I loved this ride! Tutuki Splash, GREAT RIDE! And again! Good fun, fast and wet rapids! The queue for the log flume (which is a great ride), dont worry, its not as big as it looks! Mr Dragon Khan from the Log flume queue! Now from the Dragon Khan Queue, just going down! Creepy Dragon Thingy in the queue! In the dive loop! In the COBRA! Loop! What a View! Train! Dragon Khan Layout! Hurakan Condor! Thats right, Hurakan Condor! El Diablo, and alright ride! And again! Crazy Barrels, thats an understatment, they're great! Best dogems EVER! Stampida! Going UP! Tami Tami! Furius Baco, what a ride! Nice sign and queue line! But look, its empty! FURIUS! Good Boy! Weird monkey thing in station! Just Dropped, this pic is from Furius Baco queue, so zoomed in a lot! Splash on Tutuki! Just about to go down! Quiksilver: The Shop! Furius! Well thats it from PortAventura, lets move on to Costa Caribe WaterPark! Wave Pool! Lazy River, i love these! Again! What a slide! Best slides ever! Entrance! Now Salou and La Pineda, First Salou! Salou Water fountain! Lovely! Some wierd shape thing on the beach! Some of the huge beach! Good old british bars, i like rangers so, i had to take this! Cove! Trees! My Hotel, GREAT HOTEL, big pool and everything! Preffered the Ibrox Bar to this one at my hotel! Water Feature at my hotel! Now La Pineda! Beautiful Beach! Another british bar, we ate here, lovely! I had 4 lamb chops, chips, colslaw and salad, ate it all and it was georgus! I recomend it if you go to La Pineda in future! Now Leaving! My Plane! Nice but didnt want to get on it, wanted to stay in SPAIN ! Well thanks for reading this very big TR! Hope you enjoyed it! They really really make me want to come back, although I didn't enjoy my first visit very much - Hurakan Condor and Stampida was closed for a slight breeze Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I probably will if I have more than a day there.

Well all 5 sides were on in morning, then in the afternoon, only 4. ^To MattC, that picture above the celtic pub sign is not what you think lol, its a Hairdresser Sign, so they are scissors.

packfanlv Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Thanks for the TR. I was just at the park a couple of weeks ago myself. I don't know how you could have liked Stampida though. It is the roughest coaster I have ever been on by far and I have been on some doosies. For me, Stampida made Psyclone and GhostRider look smooth. I agree that PortAventura is a beautiful park, I just wish that they had more uniqueness. It just seems to be your average amusement park with terrific theming. While I am certainly not complaining about this, it would have been nice to see a couple of unique attractions. The only unique coaster there was Furius Baco and while Dragon Khan was ok, I think Superman at Parque Warner is better. Thanks again!
championdan14 Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 ^ Thanks for the comment and I love stampida, the red train is hell of a lot rougher, but the blue one is just rough, but compared to Tomahawk, stampida is as smooth as Velocity at Flamingo Land.
