HowieP Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Besides Michigan's Adventure, there are several smaller amusement/theme parks in the great lakes region. Here's a list of them: DEER ACRES AMUSEMENT PARK This one has the potential to grow. Located north of Bay City, Michigan, Deer Acres is now under new ownership as of 2008. Some of the rides they have are a Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Car Ride, and a train. It has animals to pet, plus rides for kids like the kiddie copter ride, Tree Top Ferris Wheel, and even a kiddie coaster. It has many activities and presentations. The park operates from April to October, while the shops up front are open year-round. The park has only two rides; a carousel and a swing ride.
