Sir Clinksalot Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 ABC Fall Line-Up Personally I can't wait for Lost and Alias to start. Both ended with absolutely amazing cliff-hangers. Just as an FYI, the Lost Season One DVD comes out on 9/6 so you only have a few weeks to catch up on lost episodes if you missed any. We don't usually buy TV series on DVD, but we may have to make an exception on this one.
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 ^Forget Lost and Alias, I can't wait for Gilmore Girls!!! Kristi "although I am excited to see Lost and Alias" C. edit: oops! ABC....duh... Gilmore Girls is not on there, my bad
Justin Adams Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Lost kicks ass. Jeanne and I have been watching it in reruns from the first episode. (Thank you TiVo) I didn't know how good the show was. Wasn't it on Wednesdays at 8pm before? That Invasion show looks aiight, I might check that one out.
dandaman Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I'm doing the same as SuperCrack: Making an exception, and buying a TV series on DVD for once. (It'll be worth it to me!)
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 Some info on the Lost season One DVD from Aint it Cool News. http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=20895
Gregory DG Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Hmm... I guess Lost and Battlestar Galactica are the only two non-reality shows I like to watch. I still try to watch Smallville, but those storylines are downright dumb with the whole Lana thing. As for Lost, it's cool, but it reminds me a lot of that original Star Trek episode where the crew visit that vacation planet. With Lost I expect it all to be some huge Dr. Moreau experiment island or something.
dandaman Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Thanks for that link, SuperCrack. Check out this one, too. It's the "official" Oceanic Airlines website. http://www.oceanic-air.com/ P.S. Check out the "travellers" section at the bottom.
Kaentae Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Hmmm, seems like I'd like ABC if we had it here, they have the channel 4 line of shows. I'm looking forward to Lost, we're just getting season one next week. Wife Swap is always funny, a good english programme that the americans stole. Supernanny, that was okay, but it clashed with another of my favourite programmes and it didn't win. Extreme Makeover: Home edition, now that is one top show, I've been watching it every day this summer, it rocks! Desperate Housewives was an awesome show too, we have to wait till early next year for that though. And that's all the shows that I know. But yeah it's a pretty darn good line up.
