I just got back into some old-school RCT when I found my RCT2 CD. I originally was going to recreate CGA in it's current state but went off a different direction. This direction allows me to make things slightly different than what there really is in the park due to the limits RCT has. So, with this said, this park is inspired by CGA's early days (pre stealth), it's current state (2009 season, Firefall and Cedar Fair names) and it's hopefully future state with the GCI woodie. So here's some screens of what I have going so far.

An overview of the park. I'm just getting stuff layed out coaster-wise as 'checkpoints' and then filling in the gaps as I go along.

This area needs some attention, but here's Flight Deck.

Hometown Square how it used to be..sorta. Vortex is back to it's green & black scheme and the train is back. Also note the ferris wheel...an extra I threw in.

An overview of the proposed woodie according to what was seen at the GCI booth a while back. It's probably not 100% but it's close enough.

The entry of the park. Note the new woodie, and the carousel's a single layer. I couldn't pull off a double carousel that looked decent.

I know you said it needs some attention but wow that hill on Flight Deck seems way to big for the loop at the bottom. I really don't know anything about this park, never been there before. Isn't Ceder Fair closing it?

Its looking great I like how you left in tidal wave. What did you use for survivor?

 

Simple, make an undulating track, set the car to a roto-drop, and make it powered launched at around 22 mph using 8cars. It won't rotate, but it will be good enough

Did I forget to mention, this park is going to be unhacked/no custom scenary as I really don't have all that set up just yet...and the workbench was made before I installed the UCES pack.
