Nitro1118 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Anyone got trip advice for BGW and/or SFA? What are lines like? What to hit first? Where to eat? How long will each park need? etc.. I am going on my trip from August 7th-12th (also hitting DC).
SharkTums Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I can't really help with BGW too much since I've only been there a couple of times...SFA though... First off, don't eat in the park! Try to get on Batwing first, then Superman, Joker, Two Face, SLC(ewww), Roar, and then front seat on Wild One! If you want to do other rides, and you see Typhoon Sea Coaster running, get on it, I've been to that park like 20 times and seen it run ONCE! Is the Hammerhead ride even still there? Same goes with that one. Hopefully they'll be running multiple trains for you and the crowds will be low. If you can try and ride Superman and Wild One at night as they heat up throughout the day!
CoasterFanatic Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 BGW help: - Ride DarKastle first - If you don't like bumpy old-fashioned simulators, skip Corkscrew hill - The coaster queues die off big time late in the day - Ride Nessie early, it is the only coaster with a habit of going down - Go see the dance show in Ireland. It is excellent! - Get the German Platter at the Festhaus and watch the show. The more people in your party the better
