DiSab Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 For my second NL creation, I decided to go with a B&M Floorless coaster. It's pretty much your standard B&M coaster, nothing too radically unique, but still a pretty good ride. I'll add a few pre-support progress pictures. Since I still haven't figured out why my simulator screenshots aren't saving to the hard-drive, you'll have to live with pics from the editor. I'll post the download once I'm complete finished with supports and terrain. Keep an eye out for it! 3D view 3 3D view 2 3D view 1 Overview
DiSab Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Support work and terrain is finished. Check out the last screens and the download. Let me know what you think! Cthulhu.nltrack
the ghost Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 A very fun and smooth coaster(you are a prodigy as this is your second coaster) My only major complaint was that I got a tree to the face going into the cobra roll. You used the shovel tool to some nice effect, and made the terrain based parts very cool, the coaster itself was very smooth, but standard, which I like. You added a few bits of originality such as the zero g roll being that far into the course, the tunnel, and the helic after the corkscrews. An 8/10 because I want a bit more originality(your last coaster was unique though) and please fix the foliage., You have already greatly exceeded my skills, and I am just starting to improve. This game is not like RCT2 where I can just build for fun, I have like 50 coasters in the reject list on NL. Great job, especially for such a new designer.
DBru Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Fun coaster! Now, there are problems, such as banking and shaping of elements, but that is to be expected. Most 2nd coasters are MUCH worse than this (I know mine was . Though the layout is basic, it's still good. I loved how the coaster interacted with it's surroundings. Overall, nice coaster, and I'm excited to see more from you as you continue to improve!
DiSab Posted May 27, 2009 Author Posted May 27, 2009 That's for all the responses guys, I'll have more stuff on the way. My life's a little hectic right now, with classes starting to pick up, but I promise, I've got some good stuff in the works.
