Hey everyone. This weekend I am doing a 3 day trip trying to hit the parks of Minnesota and Iowa. My schedule is to hit Valleyfair, Nick Universe and Como Town over Saturday and Sunday. Monday will be spent drive to Adventureland and then home. So here are some questions i have

- What order would be best for the MN parks? We have Cedar Fair passes, so can do Valleyfair both days.

- Anyone know the ValleyFair season pass perks?

- With Nick Universe, could we do the park in 5 hours on Saturday night? We saw they had a deal on the wrist band after 5 pm. We want to hit every ride and the coasters at least twice.

- Are there any discounts or coupons for Adventureland?

- Any touring plan advice for Valleyfair or Adventureland? At Adventureland we will have just open til around 5.

Thanks for any advice.

When I head up there, I do Nick Universe the first night I'm up there. You can do everything in a couple of hours, including re-rides. And there's a ton of places to eat in the mall, so I make it one full evening.

I'm not sure you'll want to stay at Valleyfair two days. I'd say it's a 2/3's of a day park. Just make sure to head straight back to Renegade at opening, so you can get some re-rides before the line gets too long. Although, I've never been in line more than 30 minutes.

You should head straight down to Iowa on Sunday, and make it back Monday for the Big Mike Road Show at SFGAm!

I would be careful with NU on a Saturday night of a Holiday weekend.

Joey, Robb and I went on a random Friday night in March and Spongebob and the other coaster were about a 10 minute wait, the Halfpipe was about a 30 minute wait, and most flats were one to two cycles.

If you really want to ride everything multiple times it could be cutting it close, but you should definitely get all your credits and some other rides no problem.

Last year in June, Derek and I went on a Friday evening. It was more crowded than I expected. I'd expect the same on a Saturday. Definitely hit the half pipe as soon as possible, since it's not a people eater. It'll depend on SpongeBob and the crew working.

Thanks for the advice so far. I would love to hit SF Great America Monday, but the amount of driving Saturday means we need a day without much driving on Sunday (it is 7 hours there.) With Nick Universe, we just want to re-ride the coasters and do the flats once.
