Indiana Beach Lodging

Anybody have any advice or experience with the hotels or cabins around Indiana Beach? The lodging within the park itself seems expensive, but I can't tell if that is worth it, or if there might be some other properties nearby that are nicer. It's hard to get a good impression from many of the websites for lodging in that area.

I have only camped at the onsite campground, but I liked it, but very 1970'ish bathrooms.

This place is very close to IB. Close enough to easily take a nap in the middle of the day. It's basically just a budget motel, but I think the location makes it worth it.

 

If you're looking for a more posh room, there's a Best Western further away from the park. You'll pay more and drive further.

Ok cool. Thanks. Location isn't the biggest issue for me, just looking for somewhere nice to stay and could even head back to Indianapolis that night if I needed to, but my flight leaves the next afternoon.

If you're going to depart from Indianapolis the next day, you might consider staying in Lafayette. I've stayed at a nice Hampton Inn there, and it's in the direction of IND.
