snoflake15 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Apologies if this has been posted before but I was watching Beverly Hills Cop III and wondered where 'Wonder World' actually was. I know Alien Attack was the old Earthquake at Universal Studios but didn't recognise the rest of it. I'm sure someone knows. Also where was the Lost Boys filmed? I know that Rollercoaster (obviously) and Final Destination 3 featured parks but what other parks have appeared on the big screen?
Purplepills Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Hi, there's a thread here about it, hope this helps. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26551&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=rollercoasters+movies&start=0
Jew Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 ^Thanks for finding that thread. snoflake: please always be sure to do a search before posting a new topic. TPR has so many posts, pretty much anything theme park related has been discussed!
robbalvey Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I'm going to use this opprotunity to help you all use the search engine better. Here's my response from another thread... Now I'm assuming that the original posted did in fact do a search but didn't do it in a way that would give them good results. In this example there are three things that will help. If you are looking to see if a thread has already been created first off put in your key word and add an asterisk (*) to help expand you search. In this case just the word "Tattoo" would not have brought up our Tattoo thread, but "Tattoo*" would have because the name of the thread was "Tattoos" Second, click the "Search Topic Title Only" radio button which will help narrow down your search if you're looking to start a new thread. And finally, if you know your thread needs to be in the Random forum, tell the search to check JUST that forum. And let's see what happens when you submit.... Viola! A nice narrowed down results where you can clearly see the thread you are looking for already exits and we would encourage you to post in that existing thread rather than creating a new one! I really hope this little lesson in TPR's Search has helped you out!
