I will say this though. Anything is possible with the right script and right director. Take Batman for example. That character has had how many different movies, tv shows, cartoons, and comic books made about him, and yet we just realized what many consider to be the crowning jewel of that DC comic creation in the past year.

While all three movies were entertaining on varying levels, and it does seem to have jumped the shark, perhaps a good period of hibernation followed by an imaginative script *could* resurrect interest one day in the future.

I totally agree with anything's possible. My only thing about Jurassic Park is how many more different things can you come up with involving dinosaurs and humans? At least with Batman he has many villains that movies can be built around.

True, but even the latest series of Batman films was jump started by Batman Begins - a film that mostly centered around building the character of Bruce/Batman.

I think this is the kind of thing that would have to happen to rejuvenate the public's interest in the JP series. In other words, get creative and imaginative again. Alien and Jaws (the original two movies of each series) are perfect examples. In each of the first two films, you saw the least of the central "villain," which created the suspense and terror for the audience. As those series evolved, the more you saw of both the Alien and the shark, and subsequently the more the movies sucked.

The same thing should happen with JP. Instead of relying on cramming CG dinosaurs down the audience's throats with every minute of film, try building a new story with character development that people will buy into. We all know what you can do with the technology, now show us something worth caring about....instead of just 50 different sequences of people running from them.
