Sir Clinksalot
Update (17/08/05): Had to remove the coaster video (at least for now) as it was eating up my sites bandwith, it has been downloaded 284 times using up nearly 2Gb of bandwith. Thanks for all the interest guys !!! ------- As Bocakey has decided to post piccies of her park as she makes it, I've decided I will too. My park is called Mystic Falls and as you'd imagine it will have a fair few waterfalls. Depending on how the main park expands it will most likely have a waterpark as well. Here are a few pics to start this off. A shot showing the car park area pointing towards the entrance. A shot showing the view from the entrance. A view from the tunnel running under the waterfall. Looking out from the tunnel towards the carpark. The view when you leave the tunnel. Overview of what is built so far. Sir Clinksalot
Love your car park baby. I knew you would make your park look better than mine I'm useless. Your park is coming along fine, your rides are looking good and well themed. Just keep it up. Here are some more pics of Mystic Falls. First up is the carpark at night. Here is a shot of the tunnel at night. I've noticed a wierd glitch, if someone is walking along the path, they can get "sucked" off the path. I need to experiment to see how I can fix that. This is the rear exit of the tunnel through the falls. The same place at night. This is the path leading to the PARK entrance. The same path at night. I'll be starting work on the first coaster next...

Maynard_Hicks
WOW! That looks incredibly awesome, if only it were a real park, I would love the whole walking under a waterfall thing. My sister would really dig it, as shes a hydro maniac.
Sir Clinksalot
You can get sucked off the path? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Yeah there seems to be a glitch when there is a path directly underneath the lip of a waterfall. It seems to suck people from the path randomly. It's quite amusing seeing the peeps and the park inspector drowning (although peeps can't die in RCT3), but it's annoying having to fish them out yourself as they can't get out of normal water themselves (they can pools obviously ) I haven't tried using the new underwater path to work around it, if that doesn't work I'll have to rethink the layout a little. WOW! That looks incredibly awesome, if only it were a real park, I would love the whole walking under a waterfall thing. My sister would really dig it, as shes a hydro maniac. Glad you like it so far! There will definitely be a waterpark now, and more water pretty much everywhere, going for the whole tropical island vibe. Thanks for the comments so far ! The same at night ! Point of View of the path during day. Same at night ! Hopefully I'll get around to adding a coaster tomorrow

Sir Clinksalot
I'm in aww... That park looks so real! It's like I'm looking at real pictures! Great job! Thanks, I guess that's the biggest compliment I can really get Hopefully I'll actually have some RIDES in the park today sometime, I tend to get carried away when theming and editing terrain ! At the moment it's not much of a park, more like a nice garden to walk around.
TwistedTrack
that park looks so awsome! You must have some other parks. Where can i find them?
Sir Clinksalot
that park looks so awsome! You must have some other parks. Where can i find them? Believe it or not, this is my first proper stab at making a full park in RCT3. I usually just mess around with coaster designs rather than the whole park. I am really enjoying doing this though. I should have some more pics up soon !! Thanks for the awesome comments
FlyingScooter
That park look better than real! in a word: Stunning! Keep up the fantastic work! You've inspired me! (i gotta get a better machine to run soaked)
Sir Clinksalot
Okay, inspired by CoasterDude5's POV video, I decided to video my Stormrunner coaster called Neptunes Grasp. A lot of the terrain isn't finalised and the park is still majorly under construction, I just thought it would be nice to show you some of my park in the form of a video. So here it is: Neptunes Grasp (Lo-Res 320x240 WMV) 6.38Mb
Sir Clinksalot
I think you have done a fantastic job with the video! The coaster looks really cool, and if it was real, there is NO WAY I would get on it! I love the credits at the end! Especially cos my name appears! Sir Clinksalot
Awesome video! That made mine look terrible! I liked how you made the heartbeats in the beginning! Everything was so perfect and professional! Glad you liked it coasterdude , Your video was great and you can only improve. All the stuff like the heartbeats at the start is just using Windows Movie Maker, at each point where the picture changed I set it to fade in from white, which gives that effect. As for the ingame stuff, it's just a matter of patience and knowing what shots you want, use the freelook camera ingame and just capture lots of views and angles. Then split them in Windows Movie Maker and just play until it looks okay ! Capturing all the video is the long part, it took about 2 and a half to 3 hours to capture it all using the ingame recorder. I took a LOT of video that I didn't end up using. I had 3 complete runs, one from POV (which was used), one from just in front of the train (part of which was used) and one from the side (which didn't get used at all). The peeps jumping at the end of the credits was just something I thought of at the last minute to break up the end. I can't wait to see your new video ! It's always neat to see what other people make
TwistedTrack
the video was awsome! The lateral G's and the turns that arent banked seem intense. Why not use banked turns? Your video was awsome though!

Sir Clinksalot
Nice, nice video. I'm just getting back into the idea of playing with RCT3 (I got it at the exact same moment I started video editing, and it kinda took the backseat), and it's quite inspiring to see such high quality stuff (man, that waterfall looks great in motion). And now I have to go to iTunes to see if I can hunt down that Neverending Story remix.

I haven't had much opportunity to work on Mystic Falls lately, but hopefully I'll get around to adding stuff. I really enjoyed making the video so I'll likely make POV videos for all the coasters in the park. That particular mix of Neverending Story is one of my favourites, it's from around 2002 and it's by Creamy.. hope you find it.
