This isn't that bad of a try for your first coaster, some parts were actually quite smooth but as you said, others were not smooth. Try not to over use the smoother when making a ride, for things like straight drops you don't really need to use more than one vertex (two if you want it at a certain angle). When you do use the smoother, make sure you seperate it into small parts so it doesn't alter the track shape greatly.

 

Secondly, try and make your own supports. Prefabs are okay depending on how you use them but for major elements try use you own supports. Finally, when theres ANY sort of turn within a ride (when its above 20) you always need to bank it. It can lead to nasty forces if you don't.
