I'm not going to write a whole long Trip Report, so I'll just post pictures with captions explaining things. But here's the deal. Every year, the Staten Island Mall has a carnival, and this year we had a new Fair circut, so we went to go check it out. Dreamland Amusements, the emphasis of suck!

Kenny, Andrew, and TJ joined us when we were going to leave originally, so we stayed later. And then chilled after the fair

Here we are at Dreamland! I've waited my whole life to be here

 

Anthony said this will be better than Tokyo DisneySea. It just seems so amazing!

 

Uppon entering, Anthony and Cassie seemed very excited

This was the first Ring Of Fire any of us have ever been on. This one was called, "Fire Ball"

 

They even had a Herschell Mite Mouse

 

Which we'll come back to!

Okay, so this Zipper was the most painfull, and scariest Zipper I've ever been on. I'm convinced that it hasn't been inspected since 1967

 

They will never be the same again!

 

Jackie seemed very nervous about the "Land Side"

This Fun House had no spinning barrel, LAME!

 

The slide at the end did give Walter a little problem!

 

Yay! The Mouse was testing, so we should run right on!

 

Oh! What's this? Oh, just Anthony stuck on the block brake. Which is totally my fault. I got stuck on one of he brakes and they couldn't move my car, so they stopped the ride, and then they had to push my car back to the station, and then re-start the ride.

 

Now the same thing happened to Anthony

 

Oops...looks like Cassie is still going through the course

 

Wait...never mind. She's stuck now

 

Of course she's a great sport about it all!

They even had a House of Glass that the carnie wouldn't let me film in

 

We got to credit whore on the Orient Express as well

 

So, here's Jackie an I on the Mite Mouse. When we got on it, the ride lost it's brakes. I kid you not, there was an air faliure, and there were no brakes. They had to catch our car as it was leaving the station and hold it. About 15-20 minutes late, they decided to just let us go brakeless!

 

"Owe owe owe owe"

 

Flying into the brakes....that did nothing!

 

Isn't the girl in the middle from Full House or something!?!?

 

Okay...so Orbiter was AWESOME!

Seriously, it was friggin awesome!

 

Antony got Cassie to ride...but she was to ashamed to be seen next to him

Well compared to my local carnivals, this one had a similar ride selection. Dream Catcher, Fireball, and the Zipper alone would make a good carnival for me.

 

Mite Mouse reminds me so much of Quassy's mouse. Both are old, rare, and troublesome.
