OK, since this seems to be a reoccuring theme in a lot of posts lately. here you go.

1) Be descriptive. Which way are you coming from? Where are you headed? Orlando to whatever is your destination.

2) Are you trying to do this trip cheap? Mid level? Expensive?

3) Do you have season passes for SF parks?

General questions will give you general answers, which don't really help.

I'll be coming from California so I'll be starting w/Universal Orlando first. I don't get Six Flags season passes although maybe I should? Since I would be doing Six Flags Great America, SFKK, SFMM & possibly SFDK. I guess it would be worth it next year. It would be best to do Six Flags Great America first (for 1 day)-get an early morning flight from Orlando to Chicago. Spend the night in Chicago-where is the best place to stay by the park that offers free shuttle & free shuttle to the airport? & then the next day get an early morning flight to Louiseville to do SFKK for the day then fly back to California that evening. Is this the way to plan a trip like this?

I have to be honest. I would not fly down to Louisville from Chicago just to do SFKK. If you had at least 2 days and were able to rent a car it would be worth it, because Holiday World and Beech Bend are both fairly close by. The airport is pretty much next door to SFKK, so it would be easy to do if you decide to still do that. As for SFGam, there are plenty of hotels right near the park. I am not sure if there is a shuttle to the park from the hotel. If I were you, I would spend an extra day in the Chicago area. Plus, think of the money you could save from buying a plane ticket. You could use that money for a Gold Qbot, which will make your visit to SFGam a lot better. If you have access to a car I would drive down to Chicago. There are plenty of things to do down there. Or you could spend an extra day at SFGam. The waterpark there is quite good. And yes, I would buy a season pass at SFMM. I think they are $59.99 there.

It would probably cost you a small fortune to fly to Lousiville.

Yeah, the trend is around $140 a person right now. Certainly not worth the money for only SFKK.

SFGAm, is in the far north suburbs of Chicago, so there isn't a shuttle (free or pay service). There's plenty of hotels in the vicinity of the park, some within walking distance. The TPR trip stayed at the Holiday Inn.

You could fly to Louisville, but it'd be expensive. If you want to whore it up, the better plan would be fly into Chicago, go to SFGAm, then drive up through Wisconsin and go to Little-A-Merrick-A, the Dells, and end your trip in Minneapolis and go to MoA and Valleyfair. They're all along I 94.
