Team Thriller Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Walibi Belgium Park Management *Try to learn a little bit of French before coming to this park because the staff really aren't the greatest in any other language. *If you are planning to spend two or more days at Walibi, or planning to come back during the season, buying a season pass is cheaper. It pays for itself in only one and a half visits. *The prices are 30 euro for adults *If you are staying in Brussels, the train goes directly to the parks entrance from all over Brussels. *At Aqualibi, you are only allowed to wear speedos. (Sometimes though, bike shorts work.) *The lunch lines at the park run horribly horribly slow. So eat lunch at an unnormal time like 11:00 or 3:00 Best Time to go to the Park *AVOID beginning of summer because tons of schools take end of school trips and the lines are massive. *The beginning of the season, the park is empty *After summer the park is steady *The last few days before the season is over, the park is empty -Right when the gates open, run to Cobra, then Turbine. (Mainly because these can only run one train at a time) -After Turbine, ride Flashback, Dalton Terror, and then Calamity Mine. -Buzz Saw is also worth riding but beware, it might hurt your dark spot. -Then if Inferno is running, ride it because it's a great classic. -Tuff Tuff club is a very fun ride to ride after Inferno -Take advantage of the single rider line on Werewolf. Non-wheel seats are more comfortable. (Especially in the green train). Also, back row seats are loaded with airtime. -Vampire is smoothest upfront. -By the end of the day, Challenge of the Tutankhamon has the shortest line. Food Recommendations *The Crepes are amazingly good *The waffles are yummy *The best seat down place to eat is Restraint Tropica *Food is very expensive (especially with the euro) Ride Recommendations *Turbine is the best ride in the park, sadly though it only operates the 12 of June through the 31 August *Werewolf is the second best ride in the park *Cobra is a smoother bomberage *Calamity mine is a must ride for families. (It's best in the back car) *Dalton Terror is also a must General Info *The water on the water rides is very filthy, bring something to cover up *Turbine only runs between June 12 and 31 of August *Aqualibi is most crowded in Summer *Parking is 5 euro's --James
PhantomNick Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 A big thank you to Hercules for starting this topic, and to all those members who contributed. I'm heading to Chicago for a work trip in very early September, so I am taking a side jaunt to Six Flags Great America. After searching through the thread, sure enough, I found some great tips for visiting the park. Good stuff everyone!
