Bucket Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Josef Fritzl, 73 of Austria, imprisoned his daughter Elizabeth Fritzl, 42, for over 24 years in his basement cellar and also fathered Elizabeth's seven children. One of her sons, who is 18 years old, had never seen the outside world until just last week. I can't even imagine what that would be like. Here's the link to the story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7371959.stm What are your thoughts?
Bucket Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Indeed. I just don't understand why she didn't try to escape! If someone locked in a room for even one day, I would think of any means possible to try to get out.
Kennyweird Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 ^If he thought this thing out as well as that article suggests, then there may have been no possible way for her to escape.
