Saw this on Screamscape and started investigating it further. This seems like a bad idea for a company that has no money.

www.sixflags.com/national/footernav/thrilleaders.aspx

Some of the important highlights,

One year contract as a Six Flags Thrilleader

One (1) season pass to enjoy for the 2008 season

Custom-designed professional cheerleading uniform for entire season

Instruction by famed choreographer, Tony Gonzalez, from hit Bring it On series

Nominal appearance fee for the season

Opportunity for tons of media exposure!

Opportunity to perform for millions in our Six Flags parks as well as outside park appearances

Opportunity to make charitable appearances for Six Flags Friends

Potential travel opportunities

Ability to bring smiles to families throughout our parks

Lifelong friendships

Thrilleaders are paid $600 for entire season.

Tons of cheerleading perks and much, much more!

So they do not even get the same perks as regular team members. The main park they will be working at is Six Flags Great Adventure, but will travel to all Six Flags parks during their contract (not know if its US or All parks yet). I think the company could spend their money on stuff they really need, like paint, correct signs for rides, etc. Any thoughts?
