phazan Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 hey yall. i am wondering if anyone who has no limits can tell me if it runs well on their computer. i want only people who have middle line computers to respond. -thanks-
maliboomer Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 Hey, I had no problem with No Limits, but did have some with large parks in RCT3. Try playing around with the settings. What FPS are you getting?
Angry_Gumball Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 Actually, this is pretty weird: I tried NL on my laptop and the coasters come out all glitchy and deformed unless it's terrained. On this computer though (I wouldn't quite call it a top of the line computer but it's pretty fast) NL runs pretty fine.
phazan Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Hey, I had no problem with No Limits, but did have some with large parks in RCT3. Try playing around with the settings. What FPS are you getting? well i havent got no limits yet. i made the mistake of buying rct3 thinking it would run well. whenever i build more than 10 roller coasters you cant do anything because its too laggy. i have all the settings low and turned off clouds and shadows too.
Angry_Gumball Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 From what I've been hearing, the Soaked expansion pack has fixed this lagging issue. I have yet to purchase the game (I'm heading out to Best Buy in a bit and get it for $24.99) so hopefully it smooths it out a lot. I'll have to try the SFMM recreation after I load Soaked.
phazan Posted June 27, 2005 Author Posted June 27, 2005 ^ well after you get it tell me how it works! you can pm me if you you want. -thanks!-
phazan Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 okay so to make this easy, here is a yes or no question. anyone who has rct3 and it lags on their computer and has no limits and it doesnt lag on their computer, umm well is that true for anyone? (im sorry i couldnt find any easier way of saying it. 8) -thanks-
Mr.Six Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 No Limits is really weird on my PC. It can play RCT3 without any lag. But the FPS never get above 2! while on NL. You would think there wouldn't be that big of a jump between performace in the two programs. Michael"But there is!"Thomas
coasterdude5 Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 No Limits works great on my computer. I have an pretty good one though.
yfke Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 in the beginning I had some problems. I solved them al. and now, it works fine
