Dane
Hello everyone, The next Hamburger Dom is the 14th of March to the 13th of April. I am going to Hamburg the first week of the event. I was wodering how much it costs to get in and ride the rides. What kind of rides are to be expected? How emuch time is need to go through the whole midway, is it enough to allocate one night? Are there any webpages you can refer me to? I would appreciate any help, thanks, Dane

Entry to fairs is usually free - you can simply walk in. Rides vary greatly; you're sure to find plenty of dark rides and a number of spin-rides to quench your thirst for thrills. If you're looking for coasters you might find one or two. Last time I visited Hamburg, Alpina Bahn was there. A couple of years ago, rides cost 2, 3 or 4 Euros depending on size. To experience it all, arrive early afternoon when the crowds should be modest. Then return at night to experience the true atmosphere with the lights. CoasterKev!
Their website is http://www.hamburger-dom.de/index2.html although I don't know if the attractions list is current; Olympia Looping's website isn't showing the dates for 2008 yet. I believe Olympia Looping was 5 Euros or more per ride when we rode it last summer. Well worth it though. The amount of time needed depends on what rides you're interested in and are willing to pay to ride. We only rode the coasters and the occasional giant Ferris wheel at the three German fairs we visited last summer. We spent more time walking around and sampling the food than riding but were probably at the fairs around 4 or 5 hours total. CoasterKev!

But i don't know how much time it will take to walr the whole circle and to as much rides as you can. This depands on what time of day you are visiting. I don't really know what all the rides will cost. But the only thing i really know, is that i will try to visit this fair too.
