XLRBR Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Alrighty so about two or three weekends ago my mom, her boyfriend, my sister and I took a 2-day trip to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure as a last "family thing" before my mom has her 3rd baby (yeah, she's prego!). And since she works at the local prison (in Adelanto, not too far from Victorville), we got in for $56 a ticket! (compared to the about $120 regular price of a park hopper ticket) So, please enjoy this report with random photos, random rides, and random people! And with that we say "so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu" to Disneyland (for tonight). (RPP #15) Part two to come soon! "Doom" buggies, spiderwebs, and candles. (and RPP #14) Is the room stretching, or are you imagining it? Ech when's the last time they cleaned this thing? ZOMG Johnny Depp!!!!1 We wait while the boats in front of us move outta the way. Argh! There be a bountiful of shiny things here. Anything different about this entrance thingy? (RPP #13) Yay for oxidation! Pirate's and the DREAM SUITE!! Darkness sets over the lake of...something. ...then you get into these cars with guns. This ride shrinks you while wait in line, pits against you against this here Etch-a-sketch... Batteries this huge could power all your electronics for like, ever! (or at least 6 months) Hello. My name is Buzz Lightyear. GIMME SOME CANDY! The truth behind the purpose of these two towers--to produce ghost orbs!! (RPP #12) Urm....yea I'm drawin' a blank. Darkness falls upon Mtn. #3 (we won't count this one as an RPP since the people are hard to make out). I was fine though (ugh I look fugly in this pic). Space Mountain gave Ki-ki a headache (she liked it though). Darkened so you can actually see us (darn flash). New and imporved ('nother oxymoron) Space Age technology. (RPP #11) YAY we're close! (RPP #10) [insert caption here] They had better move before a spaceship lands on them (or a helicopter, or an ice cream truck) (RPP #9). Mountain #3 (after Big Thunder and Matterhorn, but before Splash) (RPP #8) ...and I scanned my brain! (Yes, it's an actual brain-scan!) ...where we proceeded to do this... Since Autopia's line was too long for a ride like it, Innovations was next... I always used to call this ride "Auto-topia" when it's actually "Autopia." (RPP #7) There is a Disney character hidden in this photo. (RPP #6) I forget why I took this picture. Small World was in rehab; this made Ki-ki sad. (funny thing: before we walked her my mom and her BF could've sworn they saw Wycleaf Jean walking towards Finding Nemo) POV! (RPP #5) Into the dark, wet hole. (RPP #4) This ride is very culturally diverse. Ri-cola! Last time I checked, mountains didn't look like this on the side. Mt. Matterhorn through the trees? Moss points to home! Exclusive!: TRAIN through the BUSHES! Matterhorn's line seems long, eh? Only took about 10 minutes or so. (RPP #3) Mr. Toad transported us to a forest. Meet Moley. Before becoming a car on Mr. Toad's, he was a firefighter, and they keep his fire extinguishers on display here. Urm...why is this here exactly? Toad-goyle and chand-. Ki-ki loves her some toad. Seeing as we couldn't enter through the "cool" entrance, we had to come in through the used one. (RPP #2) A car got off the tracks (random people picture #1). OBEY THE SIGN! We weren't "fit" enough to enter through this gate. And here, a lovely mouse with a 'stache. Here we have mouse styling very fashionable Victorianesque glasses (if you will). Disregard the looming mountain in the back, Mr. Toad was first.
jtizzle Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Very cool and entertaining TR. Hope to see more soon.
