hyyyper Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I was searching across the net looking for other indoor themeparks, apart from Toverland, where i work, to see how big they were. Nowhere was i able to find what the largest was. Does any of you have list of park with their footprint size? You'd do me a great favor.
coastercrazed49 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I don't have the footprint size, but I think one of the largest is Galaxyland in the East Edmonton Mall in Canada.
Force 310 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Galaxyland's own website says it's the largest, but I'm not sure if the statistic is valid; even then, though, it's probably the largest as far as height (Mindbender is 140 feet tall).
SharkTums Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 If you google any combination of what you're looking at two parks routinely come up. Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall That temporary carnival setup in the Astrodome
larrygator Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Galaxyland = 9 acres Nick Universe = 7 acres Adventuredome = 5 acres
hyyyper Posted February 15, 2008 Author Posted February 15, 2008 I googled it but those result didn't seem reliable, Cosmoworld for example caims there park is 30 acres
larrygator Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 RCDB lists Cosmo's World at 450,000 square feet which I believe equals a little more than 10 acres. I hope that helps.
beefgroovy Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 There is Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. Billed as the world's largest indoor amusement park. I've seen references to being in the Guinness Book of World Records, although I can't find the exact figures. I've been there, and while it is pretty big, I found it hard to believe that it was the largest in the world. Maybe I was still salty at the fact that I got kicked out of line for Atlantis for being "too tall". http://www.lotteworld.com/Global_eng/Main.asp
