mooze Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 what makes a theme park successful? i have to do a project for school and i already have some ideas of my own. unfortunately, i couldnt find any books on the subject or any useful information on the internet. it would really help me a lot if i had a few more facts or opinions to base my material on.
Teacups Make Me Sick Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Why not share YOUR ideas first...give the readers something to build off of. I think it might be helpful of you to research what makes a good business successful...most theories and practices can apply to a themepark.
robbalvey Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Well, I can tell you what makes a good project for school successful and it one that doesn't have any grammar or spelling mistakes. And for future reference, if you're referring to "I" it should be capitalized. --Robb
Tanks4me05 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 It's basically just common sense: -The park would usually be near a high amount of population. -The park has either a large amount of high quality rides, or has excellent theming. -The park is clean. -The park's ride ops are fast and efficient. -The food is good/resonably priced. -New rides are added on a relatively constant basis. -The majority of rides are operating at one time.
Yankee cannonball Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 ^in that case name one theme park fitting that criteria
