ebl Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 I read this on the flier for the West Coast Bash: "Parking is $15 per car. Six Flags can also upgrade your season pass to include parking at all theme parks. At the toll plaza, ticket booths, or guest relations inside the park you can upgrade your season pass to include parking for $50 per pass. Remember season pass parking is valid at all Six Flags theme parks." I already have the Xtreme Play Pass. Does that mean I could go to, say, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and park for free? Or is there a special upgrade that I still need? Eric
SharkTums Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Parking is now supposed to be chain wide whether you buy the individual Parking Pass or the Xtreme Pass. Now, whether the toll booth employees at all the parks know and honor this is another story.
Mechanic Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Magic Mountain did honor my Discovery Kingdom pass from last year for parking, but I had to point out to the parking attendant where the word "parking" was located on my pass. Apparently SFMM passes have the word in a different spot on the pass and at first they did try to charge for me for parking. I had ordered the parking option on my pass when I placed our family's pass orders online. This year however, there was no option on the online ordering form to add parking to my SFDK pass. When we attended the "Holiday in the park" event at SFDK last December I asked guest relations about adding the parking option to my 2008 pass. They told me that I can buy a seperate parking pass when the park opens for the season and to just bring my parking receipt for the $15 I pay that day and that amount will be deducted from the $50 parking pass price. I'm still wondering if the SFDK parking pass will be honored at SFMM this year though. I hope it is, and I guess we'll find out on March 9th when we show up for WCB. SFDK opens the day before, so we're going to stop in long enough to process our new passes, hit a few rides, and then be on our way to SoCal.
georgeriley15 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Well, they'd better honor the fri**in parking pass... I'll now have to print out the internet page where it says it can be purchased at the "toll booth" as well as any other pertinent web page info. Incompetence annoys me to no end... Leave it to 6-Flags... (not that the best don't have their down days) (take them with a grain of salt)
