Hercules Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Hey guys. Right now I am trying to cram in a 25 page financial statement analysis for my BA380 Principles of Finance class that is due on Thursday - something that I have been supposed to be working on for a majority of the semester. Right now I am working on a ratio called price/cash flow ratio. Basically it consists of taking the price per share of stock and dividing it by cash flow per share. I am having a problem finding or calculating the cash flow per share of Cedar Fair. It is calculated by taking operating cash flow, subtracting that by preferred dividends, and then dividing that answer by common shares outstanding. I am having some trouble finding preferred dividends for the company. Basically, I am looking for a little help. Are there any savvy investors out there, or anyone that has Cedar Fair stock that could tell me how much the received per share either at any point last year or even last quarter? Or, could someone just tell me if they know of a way to find the cash flow per share? I've been searching the Cedar Fair site, Yahoo Finance, Wikipedia and the Edgar files on sec.gov, but I have come up empty handed on both the dividends and the cash flow per share. If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. In return I will be posting my complete, "Cliff Notes" version of my Cedar Fair financial statement analysis for your viewing and reading pleasure. Thanks a lot in advance!
larrygator Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Jay - send an e-mail to Investor Relations, if Stacey Frole is still there she is usually very helpful. They should be a link from the Cedar Fair corporate web page.
rgb60 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 This might give you some information: http://moneycentral.msn.com/detail/stock_quote?symbol=FUN The dividend they're paying this quarter (Friday in fact) is 47.5 cents per share, or $1.90 for the year. IIRC, they did increase it sometime this year. Another good source for financial information is Motley Fool.
