dr.gumbo Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 This was my first attempt at building a woodie on NL and its the hardest ride and most time consuming ride I've made so far (It doesn't have much of a challenge since this is my third ride), mainly down to basing it on Knoebel's Twister, which in itself was based on Mr.Twister at Elich Gardens but I'll stop my complaining at introduce the ride... As you know, its based on the Twister which is (surprise!) a twister coaster which is 85ft high, 3000ft long and believe it or not it has 60 crossovers! Thats all I have to say so sit back and enjoy! (Also, check out my other two rides, The tempest and Operation X Project Rejuvination-A3.bmp Three station fly-bys! Project Rejuvination-A2.bmp This shot shows how hard it was to design this thing! Théo the little french Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This looks reallly good! I can't wait to ride it!
Steffen_Dk Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Great just great!! The only thing I would like to point out is the not-straight station and the beam going through the track..
dr.gumbo Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 ^Its not supposed to be straight like on the Twister (see pic below) As for the beam through the track, where is it? EDIT: Also, heres a fantastic POV video of the Knoebels Twister (by 'pkdcoasters') just to get an idea of what the real ride is like. www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22460&highlight=twister Its a small picture but you can make it out
Steffen_Dk Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I can't see the station on that pic, but I trust you. And concerning the beam - I'm sitting by a computer with no NL, so I can't tell you exactly, but from what I remember, you can see it when you're going up the lift - it's just before a turn.
dr.gumbo Posted October 6, 2007 Author Posted October 6, 2007 ^ I've found it, so I've updated the ride without the beam through the track!
durkadurka Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Well,m that was really twisted, but how would people reach the loading station? By Helicopter maybe?
