PTR: Snow Patrol, Bangor (1/9/07)

Well, I am sure alot of you people have heard of Snow Patrol. So, they decided to throw a huge *mini* festival in the town of Bangor. The lead singer (Gary Lightbody) and Drummer (Jonny Quinn) are from the town of Bangor, which is where I live!

So, lets see. Bangor has a population of about 70,000. And the concert has 30,000 people at it. So you would probably imagine that the town would be insanely busy. And your right it was.

Anyways, there were 5 Bands playing.

-We Are Scientists

-Ash

-Main act, Snow Patrol

The Gates opened at 4pm, and we arrived at about 4.30pm. I went with random peeps and then they stayed at my house for the night.

We meet loads of other people there, just it is hard to try and meet up due to the crazy noise levels and trying to listen to them on the phone.

Also, the crowd was absolutely packed....it was like a can of sardines, you couldnt move at all. And I went crowd surfing....so much fun!!

The thing was over at 11pm....and after playing loads of hockey in the morning, my legs were pretty stiff because of standing for ages.

Overall....this was the best £36 I had spent my money on. It was absolutely amazing. Listening to great music, outdoors with loads of friends is great.
