Short Indiana Beach Trip Report

Since they are closing next week and I am going to Holiday World next Sunday. I made the trek up to Monticello. Drove through some heavy rain on the way there, but never used the winshield wipers (rain x), and was worried about the weather up there. Got up there and it was cloudy.

 

First ride of the day. The What the heck just happened coaster, Lost Coaster. It wasn't as rough as I thought it was going to be, but it was def. different. Then made my way to the back of the park towards Double shot. Started to cloud up so I started doing indoor stuff, actually, did the bumper cars and it cleared up. Ended up doing most everything I hadn't done yet except thunder bobs and the himalaya (I don't like those much). Did do a falling star for the first time, they were fun. The water shows were done for the year.

 

The Chance Chaos was having the ride buckets removed last time I was there. Now the area is a smoking area. I spoke to a couple people and comfirmed that there will be a new ride and not another Chaos.

 

Onto the pics. I have other pics from before if anyone wants to see them.

I personally like Cornball out of all the coasters at IB.

Hurricane is a blowing. I had both coasters on the lifts but didn't have my camera ready and didn't want to wait for however long it took to happen again.

[Zen Coaster]

I do miss the place. It was one of my favourite parks from the Midwest Trip... certainly one of the most unique out of what I've visited. What they say about it being an American Blackpool seems really on the money.

 

The amount of fish near the Galaxi was insane. They seemed kind of vicious. Maybe they're how Security disposes of rulebreakers!

Indiana Beach is defo an awesome park, I absolutely loved the atmosphere and it's so unusual!! I was always intrigued about this place before I went with it being over the water and so tightly packed in. It was defo 1 of my favourite parks of the Midwest trip and I even had my best meal of the trip there too I'll always love seeing piccies of IB!!
