SharkTums Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Hi guys... We are in the final stages of really mapping everything out and driving from Bakken to Tivoli looks like it could be a bit scary. I had a thought...do you think it would be a better idea to park somewhere at a train station outside of Copenhagen then take trains/subways to bakken, then to tivoli, then back to our car? Are there any good sites out there with maps of the rail transporation system? Do any of you Danes want to meet us at Bakken and let us follow you to tivoli??? Ideas and Suggestions please! Elissa "please help!" Alvey PS, the Frejus tunnel accident has us also rerouting some of our france/italy plans!
BDG Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 If you can get a car with GPS navigation, it shouldn't be a problem. Denmark is a safe country. Oh, and you have to drive with the car (head/tail)lights on...24/7. But I'm sure there are busses to the parks. It's a very popular city, tourism is important. There's also a subway if I'm not mistaken.
Shadowforce Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Glad to be of assistance! The drive from Copenhagen centrum to Bakken ain't that bad, but if you do wish to avoid it, you can get a train ride out to a station 200 m. from the entrance to the park. I might decide to see if I can join you at Bakken too, in which case I could help you get there.
