MagicSpringsGuy Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Apologizes if this has already been posted, but on July 9, Spaceship Earth at Disney's EPCOT officially closed for refurbishment. It will re-open in mid-November just in time for EPCOT's 25th anniversary. Also, Disney is finally taking the Mickey wand off of the globe.....for good. When driving to work yesterday, I saw that they had already taken all of the EPCOT letters of it. I'll post pictures as soon as I can get over there with my camera.
