doublex98 Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Theres a new theme park developing in KC so I decided to go check it out... They Bought all this land for the park. Went back 4 hours later and... cool new little main square w/passport machines. Season passses? photo spot WELCOME/overall view of the park. im going back tonight so they should have more done. (they have really fast mexicans..)

They added a sort of "main street" check it out.... main street just before sunset main street at night (pretty) little main square at night overall view at night. They also told me tommorow, that they are going to replace WELCOME with PARADISE. update when I get back tomm.

asr Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 So far it looks nice. Pretty bare, but you would expect that for it's location. The main problem is that you should put the welcome on a hill so it can be seen easily from the ground.

doublex98 Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 WOW, just got back from Paradise Park and they have added alot of stuff! they replaced WELCOME with PARADISE and raised it up Bathrooms omg! nice new food court nice new food court AT NIGHT! first ride! the merry go round! go round at night overall view of process. I wont be posting any updates for 1 WEEK. Im going to Branson. So the next update will be very huge!
asr Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Its looking better and better, but make the pathways around the sign thicker and PLEASE find some way to put your shops and stalls in buildings. It would make your park a huge amount better.

HCONerd Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Hmmmm, well, it's different. I kind of like it, actually. It's a nice break from all the custom scenery parks. Minus the lack of buildings, I think the paths need to be wider and there need to be trees for shade. The place is kind of bland. Its, different, but it works, so nice job.
asr Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I think in the "themed" foler in RCT3 Do you unzip it? The scenery should come in a zip file with a folder inside, with the required files inside that. Do you remove the files from the folder then out them in?

AlmereStars Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 lol okay here's how you put roofs on top of buildings with the mainstreetpack: first make sure that all the walls are the same height, then grab a roof piece. go to the place where you want to place the roof, press and hold shift, move your mouse up and when your at the correct height you click when you did that you can make the roof more detailed, with cornices and borders etc. play with all the objects the pack gives you Good luck!
