The time has come...

Hey I decided to expose my project to you guys to see what you think about it. I dont want to be long winded so here is a quote from the press release I sent to the park earlier this year...

 

I am Jarvis Morant and this letter to announce the launch of a project im creating. The name of the project, “A Day at the Park”, will focus on the Theme/Amusement Park as a whole and not just the roller coaster and thrill ride aspect of it. The mission statement of the project is: To provide an in-depth view of various parks through out the world and focusing on the uniqueness of the parks. The idea of this project came about while browsing various roller coaster oriented websites. It struck me that there was not more websites that focus on the parks as a whole, other than the websites that are generally geared towards only one particular park.

 

The basis of my website is to show the public what a day at your Theme/Amusement park will be like and what your respectable park has to offer. It will be a great tool for trip planning and to influence a person to visit the parks. How I will go about doing that is for each park on the site I will feature the history of the park as well as the latest news. There will be a tips section featured so prospective guess can take advantage of a full day of fun at the parks. There will also be park maps to help plan out a day at the park. A highlight of the site will be the high quality photos showing off the parks at its best. Other features of the site will be downloadable video clips of particular attractions and rides at the park. There will be contact information as well as a link to the official website of the park. The feature I am most excited about full DVD videos available showing what a day at the park really is like, and it will give the prospective attendee a full view of what the parks have to offer!

 

The site was suppose to go live next month however, due to some glitches right now its undecided when im going to get everything up and running. Im going to try to get it up ASAP but since im a full time student, full time employee and this is a solo effort its getting a little difficult but hopefully it will be up and running before the summer is over.

There will be video clips of attractions like monster plantation at SFoG and some exclusive footage of off-season construction taken at various parks!

 

Another feature that I think its really cool is that you, yeah you who's reading, will be able to submit tips and pointers for a particular park on the tips section and you will be given credit for your tip in the form of:
