Neogreeneyez Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 Ahhh Where to start. I went with my girlfriend Priscilla and my friend Jamel. I woke up bright and early at 5:30am to start the drive to Jackson NJ. (which takes 3-4 hrs) from Albany NY Started by filling up my truck with gas which was 40 dollars! It¡¦s a good thing I had two other people with me to lower the cost. We started on the road praying for sunshine because the weather had called for rain all day and I really wanted to get on KK. While we drove the rain clouds just started going away and it because kind of nice but could have been better. Got to the park just as it was opening and was one of the first in the park. It was definitely dead there. We walk in the park and dun dun dunnnnnnn Kingda Ka will be closed today (WTF) I was pissed. I basically drove out here for that lol but oh well still had a great time We got first riders on Batman and Robin the Chiller (Robin) every time I go the Batman side is never open. I always get kinda nervous about the absense of the OTSR on this ride but hey I guess its alright. I found the ride to be a little boring. The launch was comparable to a car ride. I felt more on the Rockin¡¦ Rollercoaster It was alright. We got front row on Batman after 5 min and I simply love this coaster. It¡¦s got a bunch of force and is just great (tear) oh and did I mention they were running 2 trains???? ƒº As we left Batman we decided that we should get on Nitro. 5 min wait can¡¦t hurt. Jamel had never been on it so it was a good first for him. I really like this ride but, it seems like it doesn¡¦t go that fast. SROS in Mass. goes slower than this ride and it feels like it actually goes faster. But over all great ride with a lot of airtime especially on the first drop. Oh, did I mention that Nitro was running 2 trains??? After this we wanted to eat but we also wanted to see the green beast so we walked towards the Golden Kingdom and were anxious to see what it was like. The park had security all over the place. I guess it was good cause people were really mad that the coaster wasn¡¦t going to be in operation today. They had a barricade up about 200 yards away from the coaster so no one could even get near it. It was truly sad that they couldn¡¦t run it due to (rain in the area) The security dude said that the management tried to ride the coaster in the rain and got off with welts on their faces from the rain drops. Seems likely from 128 mph. Oh well I guess. We ate and then made the dreadful decision to ride Rolling Thunder OMG it hurt worse than pulling teeth. It literally felt like the train was coming off the tracks. I walked off the ride with a migrane. It hurt that bad. After sitting for a little while to regain my vision, we decided to go to Medusa ahhhh yet another favorite of mine. I love this coaster¡K I think I¡¦m becoming a B&M lover lol. But the force on this coaster was excellent. Gotta love those beautiful B&M¡¦s¡K OH YEA did I forget to mention Medusa was running 2 trains? After walking to KK many times to see if it was going to open I gave up. Iso we just left and went to animal kingdom. Nice place I guess. Except when the freakin giraffes decided to lick my windshield/car/hood/sunroof!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was pissed lol I had giraffe slobber all over my car and I couldn¡¦t move cause he was right in from on me and there was one in back of me also so they had a field day on my car nasty stuff.. lol Over all a great trip got on a lot of rides and didn¡¦t wait for long. Oh yea.. did I forget to mention that IT NEVER FEAKIN RAINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid 128 mph wind/rain rule!!!! B&M niiiiice even niiiicer if it was ruuuuning Stupid fake rain! Why would SF keep their straws with out the paper? I found that nasty all those germs... I had to ask the guy at the barricade if he would take this pic for me Turtle Turtle!!!! lol looks clean but smells horrible like monkey a$$! Nice pic spot to go to... if only the weather were better! Nitro is scary with dark clouds Robin is lonely!!!! I couldn't even move the park was so crowded! Jamel sleep HAHA it was pretty dark when i started out driving

When KK runs it has this annoying horn that can be heard all across the park. If it were to do a test run everyone in the park would know and would run from where ever they were to the gate where thte line would form. I would guess that the line wait would be about 3-4 hours at the end. I took this with my cell phone. Nasty Girraffe slobber
